Emergency Response & Incident Management (ERIM)

Training Features

When disaster strikes, chaos can spread faster than help arrives. Effective emergency response demands leadership, coordination, and clear communication. The Emergency Response & Incident Management (ERIM) course by BREDO Pakistan trains responders, officials, and humanitarian teams to manage crisis operations efficiently, from first alert to recovery.

This program follows UN-OCHA, NDMA, and INSARAG coordination frameworks, ensuring participants gain the operational, leadership, and decision-making skills essential for managing complex emergencies at local, national, and international levels.

Purpose

The ERIM training focuses on empowering teams with structured response systems that minimize confusion and maximize impact. It bridges the gap between field response and strategic coordination, aligning with internationally recognized models such as the Incident Command System (ICS) and the Cluster Coordination Approach.

Training Objectives

Participants completing this training will be able to:

Establish and operate an Incident Command System (ICS)

Coordinate multi-agency and multi-sector responses

Conduct rapid needs assessments and prioritize resources
